About Our Club

We are a very vibrant club that is active in the Beaufort Community. 

Our club offers opportunities for those interested in making a difference, to get involved.  Along with these opportunities to serve, members are also able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships and business connections. 

 

Impact begins with our members, who unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. 

Our club meets at 7:30 am on Fridays at the Sea Island Presbyterian Church located at 81 Lady’s Island Drive on Lady’s Island.

Membership Types

The Rotary Club of the Lowcountry offers four (4) membership types:

  • Active

  • Corporate

  • Associate

  • Family

The characteristics for each are outlined below.

Active Member

 

$610 / year

Price does not include $50 new member fee or $50 annual Rotary Foundation donation.

Associate Member

 
 

$280 / year

Corporate Member

 

$610 / year

Family Member

 

$175 / year

Price does not include $50 new member fee or $50 annual Rotary Foundation donation.

Family membership requires one member of the immediate family (wife, husband, father, mother, son, or daughter) to be an active member of the Rotary Club of the Lowcountry.

Membership Application Process

Now that you have been invited and are interested in joining Rotary, it is time to apply for membership in our club. 
 
  1. Please complete the application by selecting the "Become a Member" button below and return to your sponsor (club member who invited you). 
  2. Once your application has been processed by club personnel, the membership chair will contact you to notify you of the results.
  3. Once your application has been approved, you will be asked to participate in a new member orientation known as a “Fireside Chat”.  This informal meeting with club leadership personnel is designed to provide you with additional information about your membership in Rotary.  We encourage you to ask questions and come ready to get involved
  4. The last step of your application process is your formal induction into the club.  Your induction into the club is a formal acceptance of the ideals and responsibilities of Rotary.  You are welcome to invite any family members you wish to be present for this ceremony.
